We make one thing, and we try to make it well.
Matra started with a complaint you have probably had yourself. It is surprisingly hard to buy a plain, heavy, well cut t-shirt in Dhaka that survives a year of wearing.
So we made one. We picked a 220-230 GSM combed cotton with a little spandex, drew an oversized drop shoulder block, and had it sampled until the shoulder sat exactly where it should. Then we stopped. No seasonal drops, no fifty prints. Just the tee, in a few colours, restocked when it runs out.
Everything is cut and sewn in Dhaka by a small unit we visit ourselves. Keeping the range narrow is deliberate. Fewer styles means we can spend more on fabric and finishing, and give you a straighter price.
If something arrives wrong, whether it is the size, the fit, or a stitch out of place, message us. We would rather fix it than argue about it.
